We Will Not Fall

A poem in honor of September 11, 2001.

People died

People cried

Bodies tossed from the sky

All seemed lost

Oh what a cost!

This freedom we value most

A small plane felled a building so bold

In terror we watched it implode

We were in trouble

But look! Out of the rubble

A survivor stands

Waving his hands
